Jim Aldred handing over to Joe Kobrin

As the club enters its 50th Year of service to Atherstone we are looking to raise awareness of Rotary in the town and promote the good work carried out over the last 50 Years. Our club will be celebrating in October 2017, so keep an eye open for an invitation to this grand event.

Like many Rotary Clubs our life blood is members and this year will be no different, we are trying different meeting times to see if we can attract new members with the goal of having 25 or more members by the time we celebrate our 50th Anniversary in 2017.

If you are interested in what Rotary does, how it works or some of our projects, please contact us via the contact page, and we will be more than happy to help you better understand or get involved in Rotary.

The Rotary Club of Atherstone was formed in 1967 with Rtn Jack Evans as its founder President. Based in a small market town in North Warwickshire, UK, we meet at The Blue Boar Inn, Atherstone Road, Mancetter, near Atherstone every Tuesday lunchtime (except after a Bank Holiday) at 12:30 for 12:50pm

To make Rotary more accessible, we have scheduled evening and twilight meetings with Guest Speakers. Friends, Partners and Potential New Members are all welcome. Please see the meeting programme for more details on these meetings.

See what events or activities we are doing by clicking on the Upcoming events on the left menu.

This year President Joe has decided to focus on local charities and we have various fund raising events planned during the year. These include the popular Water or Wine at the Dickens Evening, and the Trolley Dash just before Christmas. We are also looking to increase the profile of the club in the local area and surrounds, so will be looking to increase awareness of Rotary as and organisation and as a fellowship group.

If you are interested in Rotary, and would like to attend a meeting, please use the contacts page to contact us.
