The districts related to Phase 1.

Version 3 has been prepared taking into account the comments and suggestions in the feedback from version 2 from clubs, individuals and DGs. The details below represent immediate requirements plus an essential long term strategy.

The recommendation concentrates on the immediate need with the districts at risk as identified by RI. The plan also looks to the long term future of RIBI. The plan is in two parts and requires agreement as a whole.

Phase 1:

To be implemented by 1st July 2015

RIBI Re-Districting Draft Proposals – Additional Information

Since details of the RIBI Draft Re-Districting Proposals have been made available, predictably many questions have been asked and comments made by Clubs and members. In an attempt to make the ‘surrounding issues’ a little clearer particularly for those Clubs that may be still undecided. I summarise as below.

Re-districting Proposal 2012

Dear Club President,

In the RIBI Redistricting Proposal details published on 12th October, it mentioned, a time-line showing that a Survey link would be mailed to all Club Presidents on 25th October. I have now learned that this central survey from RIBI will no longer take place.

Many of our prospective members wish to help their community but don't want to go as far as joining Rotary.  They just want to volunteer for events.  This project enables a District register of volunteer opportunities.

Clubs are encouraged to add their own opportunities.  Each entry will automatically have a sign-up form attached.  For more details contact the webmaster.

RIBI Web Seminar Series Continues

There are 3 presentations in the series, and each presentation is repeated to give access to as wide an audience as possible. Each presentation lasts approx. 15 minutes and then there is a live question and answer session for participants. The presenters are the RIBI Membership Development & Retention Committee Chairman and the RIBI Marketing, PR &Communications Committee Chairman.
