Our club has been working on a new youth and community project, called ‘Your Green Future’  At our club meeting on Thursday 16th October, Cecily Etherington, project manager, from Severn Wye, will be attending to give a short talk and answer questions.

Many of our prospective members wish to help their community but don't want to go as far as joining Rotary.  They just want to volunteer for events.  This project enables a District register of volunteer opportunities.

Clubs are encouraged to add their own opportunities.  Each entry will automatically have a sign-up form attached.  For more details contact the webmaster.

IPDG David Butler presented his Personal Governor’s Citation to:

  • Rtn. Malcolm Overend – Development/Training within 1060 and his help at Assembly
  • Rtn. Mike Deathridge – help on PR/Communications and with DG’s Newsletter
  • Rtn. Jan Denning – voluntary work on dentistry in Kenya and Shelter Box Week for Japan.
