Kinver Rotary Club is delighted to present the Carl Sinclair Trio at The Fox at Stourton on Friday March 6th. Three Past Presidents saw Carl perform last year and vowed immediately to book him for Kinver. Carl is an amazing pianist and vocalist with a huge repertoire covering different musical genres.

Pianist and vocalist extraordinaire Carl Sinclair has been performing in public since he was eleven! Six years ago he launched his own Boogie Trio and secured himself as the resident pianist at Jools Holland’s Birmingham venue ‘The Jam House’. The trio offers an exciting and hugely entertaing mix of Rock'n'Roll, Jazz, Blues, Ragtime and Boogie-Woogie. Carl happily acknowledges many influences ranging from Jamie Cullum to Ray Charles, B.B.King to Van Morrison and Jerry Lee Lewis to Winifred Atwell!

This event is in aid of the International and Foundation Committees' fundraising to provide transport for an education project at Rohtak, some sixty kilometres south-west of Delhi, aimed at getting children from the shanty towns into education and on to a road out of poverty. Music starts at 8.30pm, but the bar will be open at the normal times. For the energetic we expect the dance floor to be busy all evening!

Tickets are £10 and available from Ian Maddock (Telephone:01746 780936)
