Don’t forget the first District Council of the 2011 Rotary Year on Wednesday 21st September at the Arden School, Knowle, Solihull, B93 0PT. If your Club will not be represented, please let me know in advance then the respective AG’s can be warned to collect any papers for you.

At the District Council in November we have to elect, in addition to a DGN for this current year to replace Arthur Allen who had to give up the position for family reasons, and a DGN for 2012/13, several District Officers and District Chairmen (except Foundation). Nomination forms, for all these vacancies, will be circulated by e mail towards the end of this month with ballots to follow if necessary once nominations have been made. All nominations must be signed by the Club President and Club Secretary. Ballot papers for the election of AG’s will also be circulated prior to the next Council Meeting

Joe Kobrin has taken over the responsibilities of District Youth Speaks Officer. Joe’s contact details are in the district directory as he is also the Secretary of Atherstone R. C.
