On Tuesday 29th September 2015, Coventry North Rotary Club hosted Claire Wright from Hope and Homes for Children, a charity which arranges for young people in orphanages, to be placed with families in homes. This has been successful in various parts of the World. We also hosted a young student from Trinidad, Marvin McKenzie, who was being supported by the Rotary Clubs of Piarco Trinidad, Kenilworth and Coventry North. PDG David Robinson hosted him at our meeting. Marvin had arrived in this country on Sunday 27th September and was being taken to Warwick University to enrol for a 3 year Economics course, and sponsored by the Government of Trinidad and the Rotary Club of Piarco.
