On Tuesday 28th February 2017, Coventry North Rotary Club was very pleased to welcome Ann Pargetter, wife of Rotarian Andrew, with ‘’Archie’, a beautiful, well mannered springer spaniel. Archie is known as a PAT Dog (Pets As Therapy), and has  been chosen by Crufts as the representative in that class for the past three years. What an honour!  Ann and Archie spend time at many different types of institutions, mostly secondary schools and care homes, encouraging all people to read to Archie, which has proven to be a great success. Past President Peter gave a vote of thanks to Archie and Ann for a pleasant and entertaining lunchtime. President John presented Ann with a cheque for the charity and wished them both every success in the future. The meeting also welcomed the Coventry North Ladies group, which we were very pleased to see. Rotarian Brian Sharp took photographs
