On Tuesday 24th January 2017, President John Green welcomed to Coventry North Rotary Club, Oliver Scanlan. who has been studying in India and Bangladesh, the problems of the people and the region.  He gave an illustrated in depth talk to four guest Coventry Jubilee Rotarians, nine club Ladies and the Club members.  The internal politics of the countries was described as being very complicated and coping with the millions of people who had died since independence was sobering.  Past President Peter Thompson gave a vote of thanks and a cheque was presented to Oliver to assist him with his studies and to help him with on the spot projects for the two communities.  Photographs were taken by Rotarian Brian Sharp.
