On Tuesday 24th. March 2015, Coventry North was pleased to welcome six members from Bedworth Rotary Club who were on a “scatter” day. We were also joined by Rotarian Robert Mowle from Tamworth Anker Club, who is the District International Chairman. After lunch, he gave a very interesting illustrated talk on Sand Dams which were being built in Swaziland and other parts of Africa, enabling the population to gain access to clean water more easily. A donation was presented by President Peter to help the Charity with further dams of this kind, which are so needed in this part of the world.
