On Tuesday 27th October 2015, we welcomed to Coventry North Rotary Club, our Ladies and Alan Rogers MBE, a retired police officer from Warwickshire Constabulary. Alan spoke for 45 minutes about memories he had whilst serving in the force and recalled the ‘fun’ times.Following the talk, President Bob presented Alan with a cheque for the ‘353’ charity to mark the 353rd member of the armed services killed in Afghanistan. He was thanked for his light-hearted talk and wished well with his charity.Photographs were taken to mark the occasion by Brian Sharp. It was pleasant to see so many ladies attending the lunch.
