On Tuesday 24th February 2015, Albert Sutton, Chairman of Troop Aid, paid a visit to Club and gave an enlightening talk regarding Troop Aid of which he was one the founder members, nine years ago. The charity has the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service with the Prince of Wales as a Patron. A very small amount is taken out for expenses. Injured troops arriving back in this country are provided with mobile phones, fleeces, tracksuit bottoms, hoodies, waterproof jackets trainers and slippers. The personnel are also assisted in many different other ways. After the meal, Albert received a cheque from President Elect Bob, with best wishes for the by SaleItCoupon">continued work of the charity. Past President Ashwin also gave a cash donation.
