Rotarians Eliminating Malaria In Tanzania

Rotarians Eliminating Malaria In Tanzania (REMIT) is officially supported by RIBI and is appealing for support to continue its life-saving projects.

Since 2003, the charity has improved the health and saved the lives of many Africans at risk of malaria. The disease is so deadly that one child under the age of five dies every 30 seconds and pregnant women die from a reduction in their immune systems.

World Polio Day

DG Steve shows we are 'this close'

“I am proud to be supporting World Polio Day 2012 where people around the globe are working hard to raise awareness of polio as well as trying to eradicate this dreadful disease once and for all. Rotarians around the world have raised millions of pounds and are now so close to wiping polio of the face of our planet once and for all. Feel free to share this post or comment about it on Twitter using our awareness raising tag #rotaryendpolio.”
