There are countless opportunities to get involved and to involve others in our community. This conference now in its 4rd year is to continue the development of international service by Rotarians in Clubs in District 1060.

A poster has been designed for display on the backs of almost 1,000 buses throughout the whole of RIBI. The adverts are booked to run for two weeks starting on 14th October in England, Scotland & Wales and from 21st October in Northern Ireland and Eire.

Rotarians Eliminating Malaria In Tanzania

Rotarians Eliminating Malaria In Tanzania (REMIT) is officially supported by RIBI and is appealing for support to continue its life-saving projects.

Since 2003, the charity has improved the health and saved the lives of many Africans at risk of malaria. The disease is so deadly that one child under the age of five dies every 30 seconds and pregnant women die from a reduction in their immune systems.

the 'biggive Christmas Challenge' online fundraising from 10am, 6th December 2012 - Water Survival Boxes!

We are again participating in this fundraising promotion to try and generate online donations for 'Water Survival Boxes' (we raised over £20,000 through the 2011 promotion). During the promotional period, online donations will be matched by money that that has been 'pledged' by a number of Rotary Clubs and by the 'BigGive Charity Champion Sponsors'.Thank you to all Clubs that have 'pledged' money.
