Last year nearly 200 cyclists took part and it was a great family day out. The unique blend of 2 rides includes the same 10 mile flat/family ride, as last year, with refreshments half way round, and an 'undulating' ride of more than 30 miles for the more experienced cyclist.

ORGANISED BY SHIPSTON ROTARY, part of the Woolly Weekend. On the Sunday afternoon before the main Wool Fair event on Bank Holiday Monday, a light-hearted afternoon of hymns, songs, poems and music. Local community groups will be invited to choose a favourite hymn or read a poem; local musicians, along with students from Shipston High and Primary Schools, will all play a part. Afternoon tea and delicious homemade cake. Donations will be divided between St.Edmunds and Shipston Rotary Charities.

What is Dragon Boat Racing?
Dragon Boat Racing is an ancient Chinese tradition over 2000 years old and one of Britain’s most competitive water sports. It is a great way to raise money and it is spectacular, colourful and exciting fun.

Last weekend the President of the Rotary Club of Solihull St Alphege, Nav Sharma and his wife Tracy, warmly welcomed as their guests Rtn Benno Stinner, President of the Rotary Club of Stade, in Lower Saxony, Germany, his wife Gabi together with 7 other Stade Rotarians.
The Rotary Club of Southam 2000 has been supporting Southam College Eco Club Nature reserve since its inception.
On the 15th July the Nature Reserve was officially opened with glowing endorsements from MP Jeremy Wright and Councillor Mike Brooks, Mayor of Southam.
