ngoShare is taking off

By Stella Almond - Posted on 27 January 2013

Since ngoShare launched two weeks ago we have received some wonderful endorsements from NGOs, individuals, foundations and Rotary members worldwide! ngoShare members recognize the value and power of collaborating and sharing the vast resources of experience, knowledge, contacts and ideas we all possess. We are following up to encourage you to use the service and pass the word to anyone, anywhere that you feel would benefit from it.

Remember that although ngoShare is not a Rotary site, it is Rotary-centric to increase your access to the resources noted above. It is because of the strength of Rotary's numbers that we tailored the site to the RI values, not just for what you can get from ngoShare but what you can give from the incredible depth of experience to help others trying to help.

The message below is from the District Governor of the Seattle area Rotary Clubs and his encouragement is just as appropriate to non-Rotary as well.

Presidents’ Monday Morning Email

On another note, ngoShare has gone live. Please make sure that your International Service Chair and other interested club members are aware. It is going to be an invaluable resource for Rotarians to share service project ideas with other clubs and districts as well as explore partnerships with other NGOs. “Find partners for your projects in the developing world. ngoShare is a service for people helping people in developing countries. By helping the individuals who are hands-on in projects, thousands of lives can be improved by sharing what we already know.”

Have a fantastic week!

Steven Lingenbrink, District 5030 Governor 2012-13

We hope you'll check the website ( and decide to join. And if you do, please spread the word. Please note that we had a glitch in our confirmation emails right after our launch but that is fixed. So if you tried to log on but couldn't you can now. Thank you.
