This year's February Kinver Rotary Club overseas fellowship weekend saw twenty members, partners and friends enjoy as excellent few days fellowship in Prague, staying at a very central hotel on Wenceslas Square.

The weather was kind, enabling members to sightsee, visiting the largest castle complex in Europe, St. Vitas Cathedral, Charles Bridge and Prague Old Town. Some members have been asked to give a talk to the Club following their very enlightening - in their words - visit to The Sex Machine Museum!

Local bars and restaurants were well patronised and found to be good value, although two members of the group did find that they should have looked at the wine list BEFORE ordering two large glasses of wine at the equivalent of £28!

The U Jindriskka Bar in Jindriskka Street opposite the group's hotel, proved to be popular - a local bar with a friendly atmosphere, great service and very reasonable prices.

The formal get together was for an excellent evening jazz concert and meal at the Grand Prague Hotel overlooking th world famous astronomical clock in Old Town Square. (They turned the clock off in order that our musical evening would not be spoiled. The power of Rotary? I don't think so!)

Plans are already in the pipeline for another overseas fellowship visit in February 2013.
