Movember moustaches

Eight members of the Rotary Club of Kinver who took part in the nationwide “Movember” moustache growing exercise in aid of Prostate Cancer research raised almost £1,200 in sponsorship from family, friends and fellow Rotarians.

Two members of the hirsute octet, Rtn Ken Graham and Rtn John Gillett, took the challenge to greater lengths by going for a full beard while the remaining six stuck to what in a number of cases were described as “those slugs above your lips”.

Seven of the eight are pictured (l to r); Mike Deathridge, Alan Stevens, Chris Elcock, Ken Graham, Clive Roseblade, Clive Corbett and Matt Pickett.
