At Kinver Rotary Club's annual Charter Night, Rotarian Colin Weaver was presented with the Service Recognition Award to acknowledge his support both to the Club and to the local community. Colin quickly became a stalwart member of the Club when he joined seven years ago and has made huge contributions in a wide variety of ways. If something needs doing, Colin is a Rotarian who lives up to 'Service Above Self' - and he is well known in the village of Kinver for his service to the local community. The award was acknowledged by members with a standing ovation. The photograph shows Colin (second from left) receiving the award from President Nick Geoghegan, with (left to right) Assistant District Governor Peter Roberts, guest speaker Andrew Pickersgill and District Governor Brian Carpenter.
