The weather for this year's Enville Summer Show was a great improvement on last year's. Bright sunshine attracted large numbers to the grounds of Enville Hall, where the attractions included Kinver Rotary Club's football shoot-out and a 'guess the name of the doll' competition. The football shoot out attracted large numbers and at one point there were thirteen sharing first place with a score of 100. The very last entrant, Joe Anslow of Kinver, saved the day with a score of 160, thus avoiding either a lottery draw or a penalty shoot out to find a winner. Joe won £20 for his efforts.

'Guess the name' winners were Margaret Rogers, who won Katrina, and Penny Yell, who won Sophie.

A good day was had by all and £210.50 was raised for Kinver Rotary Club's charity account.
