The annual 10k run (and its associated 2k fun run) organised by the Rotary Club of Kinver is to have a new look – it is to start and finish in the magnificent grounds of Enville Hall, and it is to include an off-road section through the grounds of the Enville Estate. The course will therefore remain challenging, including the usual Kinver district hills which have featured in the previous on-road only events,  that have raised well over £30,000 for the Action Heart charity since the first run in 2007.Pensnett accident repair centre BodyKraft is again the main sponsor of the entire event, but a number of other local businesses are also giving support. For the first time the 2k race is being organised in conjunction with the Kinver Fitness Collective and will be a fun run for all abilities and ages and cover the first section of the senior course.John Gillett, Chairman of the organising committee is hoping the new look to the races will attract even more runners than in previous years.  He says: “We are indebted to Peter and Diana Williams for allowing us to use the grounds of Enville Hall as our base for the event.“They have been constant supporters of the club since it was founded 30 years ago and granting us access to the grounds and the estate lands will bring an exciting new feel to the run. Furthermore, the fact that the new route includes off road sections will add another dimension which we hope will appeal to additional runners.”This year’s event is being held on Sunday, October 4 with entry available via the action heart website
