President Tim presents the Community Service Award to Terry Finn

The Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chad annually makes an award to a person or persons who have made significant contributions to the community over a period of time.  We are delighted to announce that this year’s recipient is Mr. Terry Finn.  Terry was born in Fradley and has lived all his life in Lichfield.  He has been Mayor and Sheriff of the city and leader of the City Council, a District Councillor and Chairman of the District Council.  Terry has been a County Councillor representing Lichfield City South he has just been awarded a long service award by the County Council and has also been made an Alderman.

Now retired from all political involvement Terry devotes his energy to the Cherry Orchard Gardening Project which is geared to help people of all ages with learning difficulties and other mental problems.  He even managed to get the group an invitation to number 10 Downing Street during David Cameron’s tenure.

Terry Finn is this year’s very worthy St. Chad’s Community Award Winner.

A well deserved award.
