Once again, Redditch Rotarians stepped up to the plate to support a fund-raising event in Arrow Valley Park, Redditch. Having previously supported The Stroke Association and Cancer Research UK, a local Worcestershire charity - Sight Concern Worcestershire - benefited from the practical support provided by Rotary. Sight Concern Worcestershire (the working name for Worcestershire Association for the Blind) supports blind and visually impaired people throughout the county.

The event this time was a 'Colour Fun Run' of 5 kilometres around the park. Very much a family event, participants were doused in coloured pigments as they negotiated the course, provising a colourful sight on an otherwise gloomy day. Malcolm Jones (President), John Witherspoon, Philip Roberts, Peter Williams  and Derek Dixon from the Rotary Club of Redditch were joined by David Holmes from Drotwitch. Other community organisations also played their part in ensuring that over 300 participants had a safe and enjoyable experience.
