Rotarians from the two Redditch Clubs acted as track marshalls for the recent 'Race for Life' in Arrow Valley Park, Redditch. This 5k and 10k event, for women and girls of all ages, was part of Cancer Research UK's ongoing campaign to raise money to beat cancer.

Over 200 runners (and walkers) took part, each with their own reasons for getting involved - raising money, keeping fit, remembering a love one, or just having fun - a selection of bizarre cotumes were in evidence!

The involvement of Rotarians as volunteer marshalls is just one way in which Rotary supports its local community, and you too could be involved. Click on 'Contact RC Redditch' to find out more.
