On the 9th November, Redditch Rotarians joined Redditch Borough Council's landscape team to plant 5,000 purple crocus corms as part of the 'Purple for Polio' initiative. Five sites across the town were selected, on roundabouts, local distributor roads, and in St. Stephen's churchyard in the town centre.

The planting will shortly be followed by signs telling the public about Rotary's role, accompanied by appropriate local press coverage.

We look forward to seeing crocuses in bloom in the early spring, so look out for them at Far Moor Lane, Winyates Green; Morrison's roundabout; Crabbs Cross roundabout; St. Stephen's churchyard, and Sainsbury's roundabout.
