Over the next 3 years the Rotary Club of Redditch will be providing financial and practical support to local charity, Batchley Support Group, in line with our policy of supporting one local and one international charity over a 3 year cycle.

Batchley Support Group [BSG] is a community based neighbourhood association (registered charity and company limited by guarantee) which aims to build resident participation and involvement in community activities, advance social inclusion and lifelong learning, reduce inequalities in health, and to speak up for Batchley. The charity also provides services to communities elsewhere in the town.

The objects of BSG are those of a voluntary community based organisation working on behalf of the residents of Batchley, a locality within the borough of Redditch.

Batchley Support Group aims to empower local people by building resident participation and involvement in community activities, promoting regeneration and access to services, reducing inequalities in health, advancing social inclusion and lifelong learning and campaigning on local issues.

Please visit www.batchleysgroup.co.uk for further information.

Our next major fundraising effort for Batchley Support Group will be our 'Big Band Christmas' concert on Monday, 5th December at Trinity High School, Redditch; full details will be announced shortly.
