Charlotte Webb MBE (known as Betty), former Bletchley Park code-breaker, has agreed to speak at the Rotary Club of Redditch on 28th September.

Now 92, Betty is a seasoned speaker and tireless advocate for Bletchley Park, the previously secret World War 2 code-breaking establishment that cracked German Egnima codes, and also provided a basis for development of the first programmable computer.

As well as her experiences at Bletchley Park, Betty will hopefully tell us of her life after World War 2, an equally compelling story!

Betty is a first class speaker, so Rotarians and guests are encouraged to show their support - a larger room is available at the Abbey Hotel if we need it.
