Change of Venue:

The Tamworth Club have changed their meeting place. They now meet at Drayton Manor Golf Club, Centenary Drive, Drayton Park, Tamworth, B78 3TN.The club still meet on a Tuesday evening at 18.00 but they will not be meeting on the 28th August.

Club Changes

Please note that if a Club decides to change its meeting day then there is a form to be completed and returned to me in the first instance. The form is “Club.02” and is available online on the RIBI web site within the Resource Download section or follow this link http://www.ribi.org/downloads-library/resource-downloads/online-forms-fo....

Changes to Meetings

The West Bromwich Club will not be meeting on the 7th or 21st August due to Fellowship visits.

The Atherstone Club will be meeting at 7.30pm on the 14th August at their normal venue. There will be no meeting on the 4th September due to a joint event with Inner Wheel on the 5th.

Changes of Addresses

On the subject of change please remember to amend the RI data base if you gain or regrettably lose a member in addition to notifying me as set out below.

The address for Brian Burton, President Elect of the Erdington Club is incorrect in the new directory. Brian’s address should read 162. See attachment.

June Barley, Secretary of Redditch, has had to change her email address. See attachment.

Raffles etc:

Please note that in order to promote a raffle, an organisation, including a society set up for charitable purposes, does require to register with the local authority. The application fee is £40 with an annual fee of £20 once granted, that is at my local authority. It could vary. The local authorities will supply guidance notes and application forms.

1060 news

It would be extremely helpful if at least one member from each Club is signed up to 1060 news. A sign up page is available on the District web site via “For Members & Clubs” then “New web site” and then “ Internet resources”. Contact Dave Roberts, District web master and Membership Resources Team Leader with any queries.

District Council

A reminder that the first District Council of the 2012/13 Rotary year will be held at Arden Academy, Knowle on Wednesday 19th September. Tea and Biscuits will be available from 6.30pm. The meeting starts at 7.00pm. Agendas will be sent out around the 23rd August. Don’t forget that we are looking for nominations for Assistant Governors together with a Trustee for the 1060 Trust.

If one or more of your members wish to see the Job Description for AG’s it can be found on the RIBI web site using the following link: http://www.ribi.org/committees/leadership-development-and-training. Alternatively I can send a PDF version by email

Email addresses

Please do not forget to let me have any changes in Secretaries’ email addresses. That is the principal method of communication so if you don’t keep me informed you will not receive the relevant documents.

Membership Changes

Please let me have any changes in Membership numbers, gains or losses, so that the statistical information can be kept up to date. Information is welcome by e mail, letter or via the web site link.

Finally if you need any help or have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch
