Our club has a range of projects which allow our members to serve in a variety of ways.

Your Green Futures at Solihull College - 4th / 5th March 2015

Our club has been working on a new youth and community project, called ‘Your Green Future’  At our club meeting on Thursday 16th October, Cecily Etherington, project manager, from Severn Wye, will be attending to give a short talk and answer questions.

The Azad Choudhury Academy Fundraising Dinner is becoming a bit of an institution each year. Members of both Solihull and Birmingham Rotary clubs, with their guests, enjoy a wonderful meal and hear an update on the inspiring work that is being doen at the Academy

Solihull Rotary Club - sports for the less able bodied at Langley School


Each year, Solihull Rotary Club has organised a range of sporting activities for the less able bodied at Langley School.  Competitors take part in many different games: curling, skittles, pool, bowls and many table games. All of these get very competitive at times and judges have to be very firm!! Catering is done by our Inner Wheel Club and they sell some lovely cakes and buns! The games are usually opened by the Mayor of Solihull.

Update on the Azad Choudray Foundation Soon to be Solihull Rotary President Monika Badham, and her husband, Barry have for a number of years been supporting a project called the Azad Choudray Academy in Bangladesh. Barry, a member of Birmingham Rotary, came to Solihull to update members on progress.
